Hi Jan

I'm willing to bet the DVD included is produced exclusively by you [Big Grin] Because the pic on the label is the same one you used for this posting [Wink]

Thanks! It looks like fun. I am just building the computer so I can start some of my transfers with the WorkPrinter. The only thing that I am short right now is a set of rewinds, so almost setup! Even if I never manage to get one image, I have a bunch of stuff that looks like I know what I am doing. lol.

thanks so much.

Mack are you going with Raid or SSD? My PC is neither and handles SD just fine....but if you are going HD you definitely need Raid or SSD.

Hi,

My build is with a RAID. I am hopefully building the machine this weekend. I have everything but the video card, and that should arrive sometime today. The only problem that I didn't think about was that my HD camera doesn't have HDMI out, only SDI, and the black magic card has only HDMI and analog in. I somehow glossed over that and don't know how I am going to get around it yet. Kinda disappointing.

I kept my computer parts spec'd almost exactly like Roger's sheet said with the exception of the CPU processor as you can't really get a 2500 anymore. I found a chip that worked with the motherboard and we will see how that goes.

The breakout cables for your Black Magic Card has connections for component cables...at least mine does...does your camera have component out?

Yes....my camera has component out. I have a Panasonic AG-HPX170P that has component out, but I thought that 720 was the best I could take down that line. I guess I should look at the manual as this is not a camera I am used to.
