SO, you can just scratch my previous post, I don't need 600' reels anymore, now I need 1200' reels instead!

I also need cardboard boxes of the same size [Smile]

I am also seeking around 25 - 50 1200ft card boxes and a small amount of 800ft card boxes also. If anyone knows of a UK supplier or plans to have any made please contact me and hopefully, if the prices are reasonable, I will place a firm order.

Lee, are these metal reels in metal cans? How many?

Christian, I use white LP shipping cardboard boxes. They work great, and can be folded to hold either one or two 1200' reels. Here's a photo of one of mine [Smile] -

Where do you get those boxes from?

I'd love 200', 400', 600', 800' and 1200' of those

Thanks for the reply Lee, however I have an abundance of loose 800ft reels and 1200ft cans but it's the card boxes which I am after, new and solo, as I put all of my features into these with laminated artwork adhered to the boxes on every surface. I have been lucky in the past in sourcing old stock so have had around 30 of each up until recently, but now new stock of each of these sizes appears to have dried up recently. Really need a joint venture with other collectors of similar mindset in order to keep stocks of both sizes alive it would seem. Heres hoping! [Smile]

I have those same boxes that Joe has except mine are regular cardboard color. They are LP shipping boxes as stated and I got mine from Bags Unlimited. I have used some of them to hold some 1200' 16mm TV shows I have. They do work nice.

I'm gonna have to get some white ones though, those are really nice.

The ST1200HD has arrived but I haven't got the reels for it! Still in dire need of 1200' reels, preferrably a lot of 5-6+ reels for a reasonable price. Boxes are not need for now!

This is a reliable and good site : http://moviecraft.tripod.com/8mm.html

Bought a couple of times from him and will soon order more 16mm reels and boxes

At least for the reels, he doesn't do cardboard boxes

Yes, I did consider Larrys store, but the problem is that the reels are so heavy that shipping would be more than 100 dollars alone [Frown] Would prefer a EU seller, and best of all plastic reels, since they are lighter and easier to ship.
