I like the December picture in your 2013 Calendar where you are lying on a Bearskin Rug using the above Editor.
Looking at it, I can see why you didn't use that picture in your Auction!
Its so nice having our very own 8mm Bond Girl here!

Hi,
I'm very very new to the super 8 scene so you'll have to excuse my ignorance but this but this looks fantastic and like something I could really use at this stage what with my distinct lack of projector/processing facilities!
Just so I'm 100% clear, this wonderful looking device can be used to view/edit used but unprocessed super 8 stock? What is the picture quality like? Is it representive of the final, processed image or just good for a preview? Does it present it in colour (for colour stock)? Sorry for all the questions, this has got me very interested!
Also, probably most importantly, if I were to bid/buy, would you consider shipping outside of the US (in particular, to the UK)?
Thanks!

Hi Patrick...These types of viewers are for previewing processed film and editing. By no means is the image as good as a projected image. The light source is only 10 watts with a very small lens projecting the image via mirrors to the small screen. However, a viewer editor is indispensable in checking the condition of older films...cleaning ...rewinding...and combining small reels onto larger ones.
Here is a video I made for a similar editor so you can see it in action. It projects what ever type of film (color or B&W) you run through it. The example I have is B&W film.

The editor I'm currenty selling is an excellent unit...unfortunately I do not ship outside of the U.S.

Ah that's a shame. It looks fantastic! I'll have to keep a look out for a similar model available over here. Thanks for all the info and the video, very helpful!
