I have an electric machine that takes these large reels, a different model that the one on the picture. I bought it some years ago from UK (I don't remember the price, sorry but the name is Spondon Long Play Unit). It's fantastic. But you do need a good projector (with sprokets, with a good fan to avoid overheating and so on).

Hello. I will pm you again when I will be back from holiday. Mainly I wish to know how much it costs to send a reel to Belgium. I presume the post and packing costs may be high as it is heavy material.

Beautifully made spools, although a word of warning, once they
get a bit of a shift on, rewinding, keep your fingers out of the way!

Is this the best way to conserve film?. Recently there has been talk of the dreaded VS, and the opinion has been that films need to breathe: cardboard boxes, rather than metal cans.
