Hello everyone,

I've managed to lose my 1014 XL-S battery cover, meaning I can't use the camera.

First question, is does anyone have a junk 1014 XL-S I can buy to use for parts?

Second question is does anyone know whether the battery covers for any other models are interchangeable? Eg the 814 or 514 XL S?

I know the 1014 standard isn't a fit (I think).

What is battery cover?. Is that what I call a battery pack? (where 6 AA baterries are packed in one house). If that is what you meant, afaik, they are universal.

Can you google (find) a picture so I can figure it out.

Hi Davo, the battery chamber cover is the same for 1014 xls and 814 xls. I have had the same problem but I've never found one.
I use the original Canon power pack 9V, if you want I have one for sale.
