ALL SOLD THANK YOU Hopefully these will be useful to collectors who want to keep their films in separate 400ft parts and need a nice tidy new box and set of reels to mount the films on.
These are 400ft spools and strong white two part (separate top lid and bottom) card boxes to which you can then attach your own printed artwork. Made of cardboard similar in thickness to the Derann 600ft feature boxes.
Priced at £2 per spool and £2 per box. ALL SOLD THANK YOU
Postage will be extra & I'm happy to post to any International destination. Payment by PayPal please.
At the time of posting I have about 160 reels left from 400 I bought for my own collection some time ago.

Hi Kevin
How many reels would normally fit in the box? Would I be right in thinking 4 would allow it to fully close but you could squeeze 5 in if needed?
Thanks

Hello Rik
The lid section is a set size 5cm deep and the bottom section I cut using a craft knife to the required depth for from 3 to 8 spools in one box. I finish the glued together box edges with white Washi finishing paper tape - this gives a nice smooth edge to the boxes ready for applying printed box art.
So basically any size bottom box from 3 x 400ft to 8 x 400ft deep can be made but the lid will always be 5cm deep.
40 of the reels with various box sizes have gone already so 120 left.

Another 24 went today so less than 100 remaining. No one seems to want my lovely boxes though so I may as well just say £2 per spool instead sent as loose unboxed spools (but very well packaged). I've updated this price change in the original post.

Hi kevin .how many reels and boxes have you got left.

Hello Nigel
I have checked tonight and have 45 of the reels left - the box quantities are unlimited as I make them up to size myself - these are multi reel boxes suitable for between 3 to 8 x 400ft reels rather than the more usual single reel boxes.

That's great to hear thank you Rik - so many collectors asked for these there must be a shortage of good condition affordable spools out there!
