Nice find Steve!
I know you have wanted this for sometime.
I may bug you one day for info when something breaks outside of belts, bulbs and general greasings

Thanks, Matt!
Actually the Holy Grail for me is the service manual for the ST-800, which I've never gotten a hint even exists! (I'm hoping for some crossover here...)
-then again, right now the ST-1200HD is the one that's giving me more trouble (Long live simplicity!)
The right information makes all the difference: through the generosity of Tom Photiou, I got scans of the schematics for the ST-1200HD's sound boards. I was actually able to repair a dead board rather than toss it, stick in another 40 year old one and hope for the best.

i also have one for GS1200 even though ive never owned one.
I still say, unless your an engineer on these things those service books arnt a fix, only a guide. As i have found out many times over the years, its easy to follow the book and take it apart, even get it back together, but the magic is in the expert hands that know.
