This was one i picked up on fleabay for £12.00 a couple of years ago. Advertised as fair i took a chance as i always seemed to miss it on the lists in the early days, and now it hardly ever seems to show up. The surprise for me on this one was how good this print is in both image clarity and colour. The sound as always with the columbia Jumbo/Jumbo giants is outstanding.
A great little reel of fun here and with the aid of "that" narrator, this reel is a great starter for any show. Unfortunately, my images dont do it any justice as the film is pin sharp with very good colours. While there is light fade this one has a lot of years left in it yet.
Matt Helm is a happily retired secret agent, shooting photos of glamorous models instead of guns and enjoying a close relationship with his assistant, the lovely Lovey Kravezit. But then his old boss, MacDonald, coaxes him back to the agency ICE to thwart a new threat from the villainous organisation Big O.
The sinister Tung-Tze is masterminding a diabolical scheme to drop a missile on an underground atomic bomb test in New Mexico and possibly instigate a nuclear war in the process. Helm's assignment is to stop him, armed with a wide assortment of useful spy gadgets, (LOVE THOSE EXPLODING COAT BUTTONS), plus the assistance of the capable femme fatale, Tina, and the seemingly incapable Gail Hendricks, a beautiful but bumbling possible enemy agent. Along the way, Helm is nearly sidetracked by a mysterious knife-wielding seductress and he witnesses the murder of a beautiful Big O operative, the sultry striptease artist Sarita. In the end, Helm prevails, with Gail by his side as he all but single handedly destroys Tung-Tze's evil enterprise and plot to rule the world.

A friend found this at the flea market last month for E 3,00 and gave it to me! Reddish and full of silly spy stuff, but, a treasure for all those great character actors who managed to fit themselves in the digest.Arthur O'Connell,James Gregory,Robert Webber,Roger C. Carmel and the great Victor Buono!Plus the ladies,Dalia Lavi,Nancy Kovack,Cyd Charisse and my favorite Stella Stevens! For all those appearances,it is a worthy purchase!

Thank you Panayotis, as you say it is a fun film and full of some great names from the past. Its easy to see some Austin Powers in this reel. It is also good that you get the original "the end" and a also the columbia logo before that license notice, so many 400 footers had abrubt endings
