Ken Films - A well edited Digest! Super 8 sound. 400 ft. 1973? Stars, Lee Marvin, Ernest Borgnine, Keith Caridine , good cast. The print is sharp! And the color is good! I received this film a few months ago. And was surprised by the condition. A very good print! Storyline is Hobos Lee and David are riding the rails. Lee is teaching David the ropes! But they end up riding the wrong train run by the sadistic Ernest Borgnine. Who hates Hobos! This film is a must. It never let's up! One of Kens best releases!
I rarely see it for sale. You will not be disappointed when you buy it! Review by Leon Norris.

Agree, great film. I saw this at the cinema during its theatrical release many moons ago, yes I am getting old:) I have purchased several copies of the digest over the years but all were red. Id love to find one with color. I second Leon's recommendation, this one is worth owning.

Alan, If I come across another copy that's as good as mine I'll let you know!

A little trivia here ...
Believe it or not, "Emperor of the North" was actually released as a magnetic sound full feature on super 8. The one incredibly sad thing about it is that it was printed on quick fadey eastman!!! I absolutely LOVE this film and was so diappointed to see it faded pinkish but dang it, i really wish that i had kept that print, as i have never ran into it since.
Does anyone know who released that as a full feature on super 8?
By the way, though the beginning credits were letterboxed, the rest of the feature was in the flat format on super 8.

OSI, I never new this film was released as a feature? I was also told that it was released as a super 8 optical feature ? Well I'll be on the look out! I would love to have the feature! Leon.

At one point I owned a copy on 35mm but sadly it had faded red. The only way to enjoy this title in color is on digital media.
