Have any of you rented any prints from the BFI recently?
What are their rates?
Are lists available?

Not very recently but I hired the Guillermo Del Toro film 'Cronos' several years ago. It cost about £70, although I avoided carriage costs by picking it up and returning it to Stephen Street. It was more informal than hiring from Filmbank nowadays as I didn't have to have any form of license.
It seems impossible to find out exactly what they have, although you can try asking them if they have a particular film. However, they do have various lists on their "New on 16mm" webpages: http://www.bfi.org.uk/nftva/catalogues/catalogue/1
Don't expect anything very new, though, as the most recent addition seems to be 'The Blair Witch Project' (1999).
