I always thought Xenon lamps were expensive.
But if you take into considiration they last 1000 hrs instead of 50 hrs for a halogen, they are even cheaper!

Wow I wish I could use those inexpensive Xenon bulbs. I can't find the Ushio UXL-1000-DA for much less than $800.00.

Wayne, of course I'm just talking about a simple 250W Xenon bulb.
Unfortunately your 1000W will be much more expensive (and only last 1000hrs too).

And Glenn, I really hope these bulbs don't have a limited shell life.
I actually never heard about shell life when it comes to bulbs.
