Hello everybody, I recently acquired a Bell & howell 652 without a power lead so I bought a 3 pin socket and powerlead, the type that are common on computers etc. to replace the 5 pin jones plug. The Blue and White wires were soldered together, red and earth wires connected to the other tags. Should it have been the Red and White together?? Just wondering what I have done wrong as the lamp does not work but everything else seems to function. The lamp was tested on a 12v battery and is ok. Any help much appreciated.
