Hello fellow Forum Members,

Firstly I would like to say hello, as this is my first post here.

Secondly, I am waiting for my first film projector to be delivered
anytime now. A 30s Ditmar Projector model 2860, I have never owned
a 16mm film projector and I am very excited about it [Smile]

I only found out today that sound films cannot run on it because
the model 2860 only takes films with two rows of perforations,
and I went out a purchased some films in anticipation, but then
you all know that..... still it has not destoyed my joy!

I am interested in collecting silent documentaries and shorts,
from the 1930-40s.

My other hobbies include collecting all things to do with the
home between 1925 to 1945 (German and English) I have
gramophones, radios and clocks etc.....so a film projector
was the next logical step.

I look forward to chatting with you as I take my first steps
