I was involved in the Bob Monkhouse recovery for the BAFTA's. Now the remainder of Bob's film collection was auction last year at a auction house called Special Auction Services.

The films were sold in boxes of 12 or so reels per lot. Unfortunately no attempt was made to keep multiple reel films together. (And descriptions of the lots were very poor).

So among the films that were purchased which were incomplete include Pennies From Heaven, No Noise (Our Gang),Riding Shotgun,Dawn Patrol, Fire Fighters (Our Gang).

So if I can track down the fellow collector who bought the other lots to obtain the missing reels this would be great. I know this will be a long shot, but you never know.

There are two sellers on eBay who are selling films from the Monkhouse collection (at least they claim to do so). They also sold incomplete single reels. Monkhouse's name is no longer mentioned in the description but it used to be. Unfortunately, I can't remember the other seller.
