Hi I am in need of a kind bit of help please.

Yesterday I was runing my NT0 and on the 2nd to last roller before the take up, the spring one the small bar bolt if you will with the thin slot on came out and on to the floor.

I must have not quite tightened it enough when I siliconed the inside of the roller not long ago.

Found that OK but the small silver washer has completely vanished.

Has anyone got a spares one sat around please and could spare me that nut, or one the same please if they are on elsewhere.

Is the nut and washer anything special Mark?
Are they a unique design to this machine?

Hi Mark,

I`ve lost many a washer when stripping down my projectors, they all seemed to work OK after-woulds. I would prefer to find them but sometimes this is impossible, I think they are made that way.

Every time I have my car serviced it usually comes back with a few washers missing, it does`nt seem to bother the mechanic so why should it bother you.

Thanks for the advice etc.

The little silver washer actually holds the roller where it should be, the roller slides out too far without it. The washer sits in a little recess in the roller. The roller rides out over the small slotted bolt without it so I do really need one.

Washers are there for a reason. If they weren't necessary, you could be assured companys would not spend the money to buy them and use them on whatever it is that they manufacture. It is irresponsible to disregard their use, and in the case of an automobile, potentially dangerous.
