Is anybody familiar with this make. It looks like a nice solid machine, but I've never heard of the make or model before.

Yes, Michael, I've got one, also with its original speaker as it does not have an internal speaker. The speaker case is huge as it contains all sorts of goodies, including four loud speakers.
The sound with these four speakers is the best I've heard from 16mm. The lenses are made by Meopta.
My only criticism is the lamp has to run at full power, there is no facility to run at reduced power although it does have a low power warm-up position.
It was made in Budapest, Hungary. My guarantee statement is dated 20 December 1989.

Hi Michael
I bought one last week for £45.00 . it work well very simple machine ,no rewind no autolace and a 50 watt amp very good sound output .
One sold last year on ebay uk for £90 or there abouts .A chap in Germany bought all the old stock and was selling them for about the same money
