The red light is no longer turning on.

I had replaced the external speaker plug on this projector so it would fit a normal 1/4 inch jack. And I am afraid something may have come undone.

Or do I need to replace the light? Everything runs, and when I turn the dial it sounds like it is responding, but the light does not come on and I have no sound.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
