Hello all. I have an old elf that needs a new motor. The old one sometimes runs in forward motion. But mostly doesnt and emits a loud hum. So Im looking for a new working motor, does any kind soul have one working for sale? Many thanks

Just a thought - assuming you've disconnected the drive belt and the problem still persists - there is a start capacitor in circuit with the motor; have you checked it ? It's possible that the cap has failed.
