Hi, Id say about 100E to 400E depending who what when and where etc, nice machines though some can be a bit louder than others.Plenty of lenses about on ebay DE for these.
Best Mark.

Hi Mark,

I guess you are thinking to the normal P8! I'm referring to the T400 model with the HTI 400 watt lamp.

Here is an example

but I don't think this is the right price... am I wrong?

Flavio, considering that the Elmo 16 CX 350 (xenon version of the CL MO) is often seen at 1200-1500 euros, the price for the Bauer could be right.

So this one

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270014829954

would have been a great deal!

I'm searching for a 16mm XENON or HTI projector, but I'm very confused...

Best,
Flavio

Hi Flavio, ah I see.
Well the older auction looks better to me price wise, personally I wouldn`t bother as a 250 watt xenophot halogen looks great to me and less possible hassle.
Best Mark.

Mark, if you need to project scope features from a long way away, running an HTI or a Xenon is quite advisable.

I was told that using this kind of lamps you can even receive benefits when projecting films partially faded to red.

Do you agree with this, or it is the usual urban legend?

Thanks
Flavio

HTI and Xenon lamps produce a higher color temperature than Quartz Halogen lamps, providing a better approximation of daylight, but when only the red dye layer remains in the film emulsion the improvement realized by their use would be marginal at best.
