What is your favorite line from a movie? One of mine is from "My Darling Clementine" Henry Fonda says to the bartender "Mac, have you ever been in love". Mac says "No, I've been a bartender all my life".

I know this post has probably been done before and that "frankly some of you might not give a damn" and are "mad as hell and aren't going to take it anymore". But "that was then and this is now". [Roll Eyes]

I just remembered one of my favorite bits of dialogue, between the Cary Elwes character and Inigo Montoya (sp?) in "The Princess Bride" ...

"You seem like a nice fella. I hate to kill you." - "You're rather likable yourself. I hate to die."

(Well, it went *roughly* like that, don't remember the exact wording) [Smile]

Seems crazy that such a topical post has taken 14 years to re-surface. I would rate this almost as good as Lee's "What films did you show last night?" but not quite.

Well, I'm probably wrong on the detail but I think it's Alien 2 when taking the copter down to the planet the guy in charge says to the pilot, "Take us in", and the female pilot says "5 by 5" and descends. Gets me every time. Another is when Jack Hawkins as the vicar in Zulu is shut behind the wooden door and is told "Not to upset the men, there's a good gentleman". So many.
