Anybody like this film? It's on 8mm in various versions. I first saw this full length in the first release. Had major cuts since. I thought that the full lenth cut was good and I can see why further releases were shortened. But who likes this film and any comments to this film please post.

I found Smith's book rather boring but Moore and Marvin lightened up the tale somewhat.I've had two prints of the feature length version. Both faded so badly I binned them.Frustrating eh?

I've got the Iver 2x400' Super 8 Scope version (with very good colour) as well as the full feature in 16mm scope (unfaded and in very good nick).
I think it's a cracking adventure yarn.
One of my favourites.
I might eventually sell the Super 8 version.
You can't get a good DVD of this film.
I did hear they were going to re-release it with a Roger Moore commentary track, but haven't seen it around.

This one of my favourites!!
I have had at least 3 different versions on 8mm in the past inc a scope 2 x 400ft release from Iver,a 5 x 400ft flat version from Iver, which was for rental only?? and a optical letterboxed airline print on 2 x 1200ft reels, this was very badly cut and omitted a few violent scenes along with any mild swearing!
I believe you can get the long version only a dvd released in France.
Try the IMDB for further info.

I know it may be an edited and cussing not included version, but I would DIE for an optical print of this film. Anyone out there itching to sell it?
