I just thought I'd share my great good luck!!!
I was over at our local Salvation Army shop and I spied to my great delight these albums, and needless to say, I bought them! They are :
Meet the Beatles (original Capital MONO!)
Beatles 65 (Original Capital MONO!)
A Hard Day's Night (Original United Artist STEREO!)
Rubber Soul (Capital EMI "New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo")
Revolver (Original Capital/EMI MONO!)
The thing that amazes me about them is that they are the orginal sleeves, the cover are almost mint to just slight wear on all of them, and the vinyl is MINT! (I looked at them in the best light and did not see a SINGLE SCRATCH OR BLEMISH!!!)
I am truly afraid to tell you how much I got them for, (it would make you fellows cry, and I don't like seeing a grown man cry) ....
... But I sure as hell know how much they are worth!!!!
AND ...
You know what this means to me?
MO Money for film collecting!!!!!
(oh, by the way, they ARE the original Capital labels on the records as well, not re-issue labels, (true of the United Artist labels!). These are the original issues!!!
Commence Drooling!

Ah.... being a 60s lad "The Beatles" produced one hit after the other, Osi an original sleeve in good condition I imagine would be sought after by collectors, here is a photo of my one and only album "Apple Records" I bought new back in 1974.
All the best music was made in the 60s, and the "Beatles" were the tops, my favourite track was "The Fool On The Hill" 1967.

Actually, I was looking these albums up, not all of them, but some of these are up at 70.00 to 90.00 dollars.
Okay, i give it up, I paid 5.00 dollars for each one. Salvation Army stores can be really stupid. These three albums were 5.00 dollars, while they had the inner booklet from "Magical Mystery Tour" (remember that?) with a ten dollar price on it. Silly people.

The mono Beatles albums have alternate mixes of many songs, which is the mail reason why they are so collectable. In particular Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour and the UK only Mono White Album are quite interesting to listen to.
