Hello,

Does anyone know of someone who sells film rollers for 16mm and perhaps also for 8 and S8? I am referring to the plastic guide rollers with a core that are used for platter systems and such, when film needs to be guided around to a machine. Do they exist for the smaller formats?

Thanks,
Claus.

Hi Claus,

I recently stumbled on this:

http://www.lavezzi.com/FilmRollersStuds.html

-yet I hoped somebody could find a seller with more for the 8mm gauges.

Steve,

Thank you; their 16mm roller and stud look like something I can use. Like you, I wish I could find the same specifically for 8mm. Maybe somewhere out there, someone has something for that.

Claus.

That is a 16mm PAD roller, not a roller. It is designed to hold the film onto a sprocket. You can't run film over it like a platter roller.

Kelmar makes a 35mm roller with a 16mm groove in it.

Brad,

Thanks for the heads-up on that; lesson learned. I'll check out Kelmar.

I think this should do it:

Both for 8 and 16. Nice.

Claus.
