As old '07 leaves us,
We bid it fond farewell,
With memories of screenings,
And films we'd buy and sell.
The next year has an omen,
Unlike the year above;
For 8's the very number
Of the little gauge we love.
Let's keep the reels a-rollin'
And let us wish and hope,
For everyone: A Super '08!
(In both regular and 'scope.. )
Happy New Year to all the members and your families,
Best,
Claus Harding

That was excellent, well another year has just about gone, its certainly true that the older you get the quicker time passes, far to quick for me, actually I am another year older in a couple of days so if someone would like send me a cake that would be great, have a Happy New Year everyone .
Graham.

Claus,
GREAT, GREAT, GREAT !
BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO,
I love your poem.
I understand your intent by using the word OMEN,
and not to sound superstitious, however
the word Omen and ominous is defined as
threatening and evil.
The positive substitution of the word omen to your verse
is auspicious, and defined as favorable, promising and rosy.
"The next year is auspicious,
unlike the year above;"
Let's leave the Omen to Damian, and 20th Century Fox.

Michael,
Thank you for the editing; you are correct indeed.
And yes, Damien can stay out of this little toast; he will have to wait for the next screening
Best,
Claus.
