We went to the movies tonight to see Clint Eastwood's latest film Gran Torino . Clint shows some of his 'Dirty Harry' roots in this film, but its much more than that, very funny in parts, very sad in others. Highly recommended.

I loved it.

Mr. Eastwood has said that this may be his last acting role. If that is the case, he is going out on top.

He gave a marvelous performance.

Been waiting for this for months. It starts in our city in 10 days.

My favourite Clint film? Thunderbolt and Lightfoot. It even has a drive-in sequence.

Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, an excellent classic.

I just lucked out nd FINALLY added to my optical collection,

"Pale Rider"

... which was always a favorite of mine.

One of Clints unsung great films? "Honytonk Man", which, along with "Bronco Billy" were two of Clints personal favorites.

As already stated, this one is certainly the potential one to go out on!

One of the local TV stations used to have an Eastwood festival around New Years':

"Squint with Clint"

Watched "Gran Torino" this morning at the movies, good story, sad ending, Clint Eastwood was superb one of the best movies in a long while.

Graham.
