My girlfriend and I saw this one tonight in 3d. We loved it and the audience enjoyed it immensely. Of course, most of the audience were kids under eight, but that simply meant we fit right in! I did make one happy observation-whenever any of the children in the audience saw a 3d shot they were impressed by, they let out an audible 'woah' or 'wow'. It was primarily in still shots, during a rather long take that we heard the most positive reactions. I guess they liked 'looking into' the image at all of the small details rather than the 'gotcha' shots where some object is supposed to leap out of the screen at you. Very nice movie that we highly recommend!

Saw this today and really enjoyed it. The film is a tad slow in its mid part but the art direction is fantastic. 3D is very nice as it is barely noticeable and feels quite "natural".
