If you have realplayer on your pc you should be able to hover the curser over the video that is playing and a a "download video" should appear, just click on that highlight and it will save the video to your realplayer download file. make sure you have the latest Realplayer though

Interesting links there guys and handy aswell, Ive just found out that my version of Realplayer no longer auto dowloads the vids, realplayer did this about a year ago, something to do with microsoft if I remember. So until it is resolved I will be using one of the above links. Regards.
John

Try this: click on the link to launch your video, then, once the video has started, replace the "Y" in 'youtube' in the URL by "3" as in '3outube'. And voilą, the option to save appears...

Say you want to watch this :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWJP7GfEXZQ
(Shameless plug for the band I'm producing and the CGI teaser I created)
Once the video starts, do what I say above :
http://www.3outube.com/watch/?v=EWJP7GfEXZQ

This will load a new page with the option to download.

Have fun.

http://clipnabber.com/ Just paste the url, and a download link appears.

As for making a DVD, check out http://www.videohelp.com/ There you'll find all the programs that you'll need (many of them free).
