It's allways good when a film previously considered lost resurfaces, and I was interested to read on the IMD site that the lost 1931 British version of 'The hound of the Baskervilles' has had the newly discovered sound discs married up with the existing picture elements and have had a showing at the Sherlock Holmes society in London. Apparently Robert Rendell, who played Holmes, wasn't very inspiring in the part, but it's a tantalising prospect, anyway. Does anyone have any info on this subject? Perhaps I should join the society!
