Amazingly nobody seems to have mentioned the return of Arnie to our cinema screens. We went along to view the film extremely excited what with being fans and all, and although he was somewhat slower on screen we liked his more thoughtful delivery of lines. The film had some good supporting names in the mix with Johnny Knoxville stealing a few scenes, especially when he climbed up a power cable pole to cut a live wire. I think Arnie is now around the 65-66 mark so it’s never too late for Terminator 5, in fact Criswell predicts it’s a certainty!
Fingers crossed a super 8 trailer will eventually be forthcoming of Last Stand so I can add another to my 600ft reel of Schwarzenegger trailers and here he continues to adorn our home Super 8 screen.

Arnie, ,like Stallone and some others from the '80s, while not
making cinema classics, certainly made entertaining "fluff", and
it will be nice to see him do his stuff.

I'll be back!
And he certainly is. I like him in this film. I think for his age he does a great job. Plus the film is very entertaining. I'm sure we will see him in T5.

I have not seen "Last Stand" yet but I am certainly a huge fan ever since seeing "Conan The Barbarian" as a kid in the early 1980's. He has always been an iconic figure; I had a full size "Commando" poster on my bedroom wall as a kid and even today I have a "Terminator" movie poster in the-man-cave as well as the full-size T2 Judgement Day arcade machine that has larger-than-life Arnie marques on the side. You can't think about classic 80's gratuitous violence and action without thinking Arnie! No matter how old he gets, or how weak his roles may become I will always be a fan!

I saw Last Stand. Unfortunately I thought it was somewhat entertaining but there was something off about Arnold or maybe it was the direction or something. Not the kind of comeback I would expect. At least it wasn't as bad as Collateral Damage but that isn't saying much.
