I have just an article (in French) about the new 100 $ note. They don't say if the former notes will still be valid forever. In Belgium when they changed the notes (in Belgian frank or when we adopted euro), the preceeding ones were still valid for a limited time but after that time you can still exchange them (except for the value less than 2,5 euros and only for the notes issued after 1945 beacuse of the black market during WWII) at the central bank of Belgium. Other countries (like France) have another policy and the old notes have no value anymore (except for collectors). I think that the American dollars of the president serie are still valid but I would like to be sure of that as I have some dollars. I have a doubt as I think it woild not be logical to change the notes to fight falsification and still accept old ones which are supposed to be easy to falsify but on another hand there are so many American notes in circulation worldwide that it would not be a good message to say they are no valid anymore. So, should I worry about my dollars ?

You are OK. Hold on to your US notes (bills.) It is a US Government policy that all designs of US currency remain legal tender, regardless of when they were issued.
