This is my first 16mm show tonight, and do not have a zoom lens for my 16CL. Can someone tell me, in order to fill an 8 foot screen width, using a f 1.2 50mm lens, how many feet do I need between projector and screen?

Most appreciated.

The answer is multiply the screen width by 5.2 to find the projection distance for a 50mm lens on a 16mm projector i.e. roughly 42 feet to fill an 8 ft screen. Good luck with the show.

And make sure the feet have all their toes!

This could be of use for 16mm.
