KEVIN, not sure how it focus's, but they normally have a pin in the barrel of the lens, and a scroll in the focus mechanisms knob, this allows the barrel to move in and out to focus. The front bit of your lens adjusts the picture size, perhaps your lens has un latched itself from this mechanism, just gently push the lens backward while turning the focus knob, this may relocate the focus.
