The Portugese filmaker Manoel de Oliveira died at the respectable age of 106 ! He started in the silent era and shooted until last year. I was Lucky to see one of his film in a festival in Paris ; a French specialist of this filmaker was there and an interesting explanation and discussion followed the projection.
