I mentioned this 1972 British Horror Film to my eldest as one he really should see so we might buy the DVD off ebay for £6.99 delivered, the best you can do.

If you haven`t seen it, called Raw Meat , in the States, its worth checking out as a bit special for lots of reasons and really stays with you.

Creepy, Funny, Frightening, Sad, and well filmed to, you name it.

Hi David I really love it too, but I never feel quite right after seeing it !!!

Only seen it a number of times on the TV, so not sure how I`ll cope 10 feet wide !!!

I only saw RAW MEAT once at my local drive-in back in the 70s. I remember the film being disturbing, but I really liked it....

Hi David ordered it and my two eldest sons are coming round for a show on the VP this week sometime. 10 feet wide job.

I`ll tell you what its like etc picture wise.

I think it may be uncut as well so better watch it first as Jordan is only 15 !!!

Hi, well I finally watched the film, on dvd region 2, and have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with the transfer, to my eyes 10 feet wide it looked very nice.

I`m pretty sure my sony is a good upscaler, but I`d say for DVD its as good as you could hope for and far better than I expected.

There are no extra`s, just the film, but a very nice cover, and this is the uncut version as well.

While not in the same league as The Wickerman really, it`s still a very affecting and good film and very pleased to have it on the shelves. A bit of a small scale classic really.

If you like it, I`d give it a go, and Donald Pleasance is really good, and the girl is very nice too.

The sound was pretty good as well, and although the odd shot here and there was a little grainey, I`s say 8.5/10 for video. 16/9 ( full screen on a 16/9 TV or panel etc.) anamorphic.

Heres the cheapest I can find at the moment, and where my copy came from.

I saw "Death Line" on British television years ago, although I didn't know if it had been edited for TV showing.

I don`t remember seeing as much or as many people/s bits and pieces etc on TV, though the narrative was still intact.

Shame it wasn`t a bit longer, but still very good.

I think I'll send off for this as I've checked other sites to see if it's available in Blu Ray but no luck. But you never know - as the same thing happened with the early 1972 classic "Theatre of Blood" with Vincent Price and Diana Rigg and a brilliant cast of victims including Dad's Army's - Arthur Lowe - I bought this on DVD and a few weeks later - the Blu Ray release was announced via Arrow.

Hi David, hopefully like me you will be happy with the qaulity of this.

Some films if put on to Blu Ray they use the dvd master material and all you get is more grain etc etc anyway.

I`m very happy with the copy, it will do me, and be with the Blu Rays, in the not so run of the mill good films.

Its a bit niche, so I`d be surprised if it gets on to Blu Ray any time soon, but famous etc etc.
