Another fun day from Keith and his gang of helpers, I really enjoyed the shows I attended, and as far as I could gauge it was a good turnout too (lovely day for it!). I met up with many old friends, talked too much (really croaky this morning), and bought a few things for upcoming lists, so a good day all around (the only dissapointment were the 'Hot Dogs', poor compared to previous events).
I'll do a full report for my next lists.

Another good day as always. However, I think it's slowly turning into a film and photographic flea market. Film is less evident and what is available seems, generally, to be very old and lacking in interest. An avalanche of dvds, books and odd equipment. I had a table with John Salim and we did well with a lot of interesting conversations. Will be interesting to see what the attendance was but my guess is a little less than last year. Thanks, Keith, and your merry band of helpers. You didn't let us down.

My compliments to Keith and John for another enjoyable day that I sincerely hope won't be the last. In the cinema, seeing some of Hammer's 'One Million Year BC' with prehistoric ladies and dinosuars in 35mm was the highlight for me. I was delayed by road works and heard that most of the Super 8 films on the bring and buy were snapped up before I arrived, so it's well worth weeding out unwanted items from you collection to fund new purchases. However, I was delighted to buy some excellent condition 16mm Blackhawk L&H two-reelers from the bring and buy for only £25 each, so I'm surprised but grateful that no one bought them before I did. I saw Brian Murphy was there - did he say anything at the start of the first show?

Jan just caught me in one of his pictures, I'm in the red/grey coat in the first one. As I put in another thread I left early, but had a good time. there were some 16mm projectors in the Bring and Buy but I didn't fancy carrying one even to the nearest bus stop. I saw a Derann Disney (Reels one and three only of Peter Pan) in for £30 I was considering buying but wasn't sure where the 2 200ft extracts came from so just missed it, when I got back someone had just picked it up. I'll pu in a few more pictures later,
I'm sure Keith would like some for the review part of Phil's magazine he asked me to send him any good ones I have.
Also anyone know if the bulk load of 35mm reels that were for sale unseen went?
