I had to stage this photo of my new bench with the Super8 re-winders next to the 35mm [Roll Eyes] [Wink]

The down side now is finding the time to play with the stuff [Big Grin]

Hope to get the Bauer back up and running before Christmas, with a much lower wattage lamp to replace the Xenon that's in it at the moment. It uses to much power other wise. However the Ernemann 2 is running great.

Thanks everyone

Initially years ago it was supposed to be a spare room built at the back of the garage, but over the years things got a bit out of hand...and it grew. The above photos are from an area right at the back of the garage itself but inside it. It was a matter of taking the rear window out and making the garage side door the entrance. I can still park the car in the garage, but only just. [Smile]

When the cinema closed, so much stuff was going to the dump, that I thought I would try to save as much as possible. The owners were really good, they just wanted it all gone. The five deck platter came with me as well and that has worked out really well.

I am sure folk thought I was crazy taking that thing, but as with all this stuff if its not looked after it will, like the Bauer just deteriorate, hence the building of a insulated room in the garage itself. The laminated wood for the bench and the shelf's came from the cinema as well. It took me a while to do this work...but now its time to enjoy the benefit...if I can find the time [Smile]
In the beginning....the early 1990s...how it all started.

When Graham says "home cinema" he really means Cinema in-home!
