Derann produced a very nice 200 footer of this NFU film. I have a copy and the full 25 minute 16mm print both are very good.
Anyway.. if anyone is interested the full film is shown on "you-tube" and its still a very interesting film to watch of a time that sadly has long gone.

I also have the full length 16mm print. It's a great film and still has good colour.
Is the steam train still running?

Was running in 2005 when we visited daughter at Blenheim. Quite spectacular to see it live.

I don't think cutting this one down for Super-8 was doing anybody a favor. I'd be glad to pay more to have the whole thing.
The last I heard, The Kingston Flyer had been suspended for several years. The equipment is deteriorating and as time passes by it's possible it may not be restorable.
