Hey folks, just thought I'd put up a ink to one of my auctions, just to show off that rare deleted fantasia footage in LPP COLOR, that, to this day, has NOT been officially released by Disney in any format, not laserdisc, DVD or even bluray, (quite sadly.

This trailer is really an oddball thing. I got this awhile back, and someone, (not me), decided to edit together two trailers fro Fantasia, one from the late 60's early 70's and one from 1951, and it's the 1951 trailer that hosted the deleted footage in the trailer. Since I already have another copy of this rare 1951 trailer, I chose to sell this edited together trailer, (being a purist ... leave individual trailers alone).

However, the person that edited this together, did put all the difference footage in the different parts of music, (in other words, you don't have "Night On Bald Mountain" in the middle of "Toccata and Fugue"

I think i still have the 1951 trailer in my collection.
Thanks for that information Osi regarding the deleted footage
being in that trailer.

No problem! [Smile] Definitely a neat rarity, to be sure!

That footage was in all the domestic USA 35mm prints up until the 1967 reissue.

I didn't know that. Surprising to see that it was still in until 1967

The 1967 reissue was the first official re-release after the start of the civil rights movement. It was also the year of the Newark NJ and Detroit race riots.
