OK, Im thinking of taking the plunge into 35mm film showing and collecting.
So, what is a good portable 35mm projector
Is there a specialist dealer for 35mm projectors and films
And, should I bother (I already run super 8 and 16mm)

Paul Foster sells 35mm films, perhaps he could help with a projector. An updated GB "N" would be a suitable projector.

Should you bother? You bet you should! If you love film and providing you have space at home, it's the obvious next step.
Finding a portable 35 machine is no easy task but not impossible. They are more "transportable" than "portable" as they're all heavy beasts.
The Cinemeccanica Portacine will give you an all-in-one experience (transport arms for up to one hour of film, integrated amplifier and speaker, 500 or 1000w xenon lamphouse).
Models from Cinemec feature also feeder and take-up for one-hour, 1600w or 250w lamphouse but no integrated amp. You need to feed the sound to a pre-amp (a mixing console will do) or a sound processor.
There's the FP23 from Kinoton. I had one of these for years. Very reliable. 400w halogen lamp.
Or the chinese Spectra (Wilton of Ealing has one).
The cool thing about 35mm machine is that you can go Frankenstein with them. Have a projector head from one brand, lamphouse from another...

around this time last year.
You could have had a Westar 35mm for free from me.
I had dismantled it down to the head mechanism.
Sadly it ended up at the local tip as no one wanted it.

Or you could look out for a Carl Ziess TK 35 Portable.
Not much heavier or larger than a 16mm machine.
