Well this was a real surprise, what a well made film, based on the true, but tragic story of the 1996 storm that claimed eight lives. If you haven't already watched it I would certainly recommend it.

In the film there is a reference to the IMAX team who were on Everest at the same time.

This reminded me of the IMAX film "Everest" I had on DVD. After watching the DVD, which I should add covered the disaster on the mountain and how the IMAX film makers assisted in the rescue of some of the survivors. If you are intending to watch the 2015 feature, do watch the IMAX Everest first, as there story is very accurate to what is later told in the 2015 feature.
