Bristol's David Prowse is to discontinue public engagements. The 82-yr-old actor has said that he will no longer be doing any personal appearances or conventions due to health problems as from January 2018.
Dave was in the Star Wars series and started in 1975 as "The Green Cross Code Man". The 6'7" body builder was a former Mr. Universe.
