What a shame Burt Reynolds has passed away aged 82, I'm sure he lived a great life and made some of my favourite films, sorry to hear this sad news today,Mark.

A very underated actor, he was a fine comedian, stuntman and serious actor, he will be missed.

Sad news indeed. Sadly the British actress Liz Fraser has also passed away today aged 88.

There is a certain irony in the sense that i watched my 16mm print starring Burt Reynolds in " THE END " only a couple of weeks ago.

Very sad,
he was in some great movies, Deliverance, Smokey and the Bandit, The Longest yard, (mean machine) and the best version of it in 1974. Dozens upon dozens of movies and a a very good later one was Boogie Nights in 1997, he's won many awards and always fun on chat shows.

Sad, but just a reminder of our frailty as human beings and our mortality. It comes to us all. Some have seemingly better life experiences than others, but we all end up the same. Just enjoy while you can without taking from others.

We watched, in honor of the Burt, our optical sound feature of "Hooper"!

A funny story about the movie Hooper: a friend and myself went to see Hooper and the co-feature Star Crash. During Hooper the theater was crowded, but by the end of Star Crash (and I am not lying) we were the only people left in the theater. How embarrassing!
