I had a call from one of my Australian customers, who received his latest booklet 10 days after posting, it's really dear sending AirMail these days, and 10 days is really excesive, in my mind anywhere in the world should be a 3 to 4 day service. I felt really sorry for him as everything he asked for had been sold. I could undestand if it was near a busy season like Chrismas, but May!
I've been told that te Australin Postal system isn't wonderful, but come on 10 days from the U.K. is a bit much.

Perhaps it might be a good idea for your Australian customer to look at your website as soon as it has been updated with new releases.
It might net him what he wants.

Unfortunately not all my customers, have, or choose to have the option of the internet, and he is one of those, I'm afraid snail mail is his only option, but he should still receive a better service than he got!

A long time ago there were 2 types of service for sending a letter, i.e sea mail and air mail. Today, for sure there is no more sea mail for a letter, except fo big parcels. So basically all letters and post cards are sent via air.
If you sent the booklet by air mail IMHO 10 days is already good since this is the slowest service available from the post office nowadays.
It would be a different case if you were using a treaceable (registered) service.
