Monday night Dayton , Ohio , about 30 miles north of me , was devastated by 11 killer tornados that has reduced the local areas to rubble - as if an Atomic bomb was dropped !
I know of several film collectors who reside in and very near the locals that were almost completely leveled and fear they may have been hurt or need some kind of aid .
I have tried to contact them by email and phone - with no avail .
Steve Osborne and Bob Statzer are two that I have tried to get ahold of but they may not have any power .
This is Dayton's darkest hour and if any one can help it would certainly relieve some stress with us survivors .
If you are friends with any film collectors in that region - from Richmond , Indiana to Dayton , Ohio , please try to contact them .
I pray they are still with us .

Steve is ok I have spoken to him....the damage was very close to him and there are still power and water problems...I was just there at Steve's on Saturday as was quite a few from the forum who were visiting the Cinevent convention in Columbus. My thoughts and prayers are with the area......was your area affected as well Dave?

Crazy how random the damage can be. I missed not seeing you at Steve's. Maybe I'll see you at the next show.

Shorty,Steve's having trouble emailing you he just wanted to say and those who are concerned
"The F3 tornado landed 3 miles from here but no damage in Kettering. Dayton a few miles north got hammered with 7 tornados!!! Major damage. Most still without power and kettering plus day does not have drinkable water."
Also he wants you to send photos of last weeks event
