I've read a few threads about doing the upgrade to a Halogen Lamp, but I need some clues as to what to do.
I Have a 12 volt 100W Halogen bulb with a GY 6.35 fitting. Is this what I need?
What fitment do I need to be able to use it in the projector?
Any clues would be useful.
Thanks,
Tim

Hi Timothy,
Basically you are on the right lines. The GEM took a 12V 100watts non-halogen lamp originally so has a usable transformer inside. You will need to somehow install the correct G6.3 lampholder available from Maplin and many others in the right place so the new lamp lines up with the reflector and condenser lens in the lamp house. You will probably need to improvise a metal bracket to install the lampholder.
