Hi all,
There are plenty of scanners designed to scan 35mm slides and film strips. I have also seen a few with the plastic guides to scan 8mm films with them.
Has anyone tried using these to scan individual frames of 9.5mm film? It would obviously need a bit of playing around with plastic guides to make them hold 9.5 film.
Thanks
Andy

You can see an example of a model that accepts 9.5 here : http://www.vision-systems.com/articles/print/volume-16/issue-4/departments/technology-trends/high-speed-scanning-machine-vision-digitizes-vintage-films.html

Thanks Dominique,
Wish I had the money for such a machine.
I was thinking more like this sort of design
http://www.amazon.co.uk/7dayshop-Portable-Resolution-Scanner-Colour/dp/B009WQXNHA/ref=lp_430591031_1_9?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1450510878&sr=1-9
There are plenty of different types. Some obviously better than others.
Thanks

You have indeed different systems (and different prices !). Here is another one : http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Kit-de-transfert-externe-analogique-avec-menu-OSD-projecteur-8-S8-et-9-5-mm-/221966040152?hash=item33ae34fc58:g:aQwAAOSw3ydVsNdO I never made any digitalization so I have no idea about the difference in quality between each system.
