Well ! Yes and No ! Dvd took a little that away! But I think its far from perfect ! If you see the universal dvd preprint material, they are far from perfect, some films have some deep emulsion lines! On the other hand ,projector are expensive on ebay,But theirs a cure !! Dont get to crazy with your film collections! For example Last year I sold my universal 400ft super 8 sound! I gat a nice amount, But Now I see on ebay for only one the price going crazy again! so I think its like stocks, It goes up and it goes down! I love films its my life, and Iam sure out there theirs a lot like me!
So lets play a little game! If anybody out there have some universal 8 in sound in boxes (horror monster films ) for sale please let me know! But Iam prettty sure , I will have no reply! So like I said, Its up to all of us! To keep the hobby alive! I still have a large collections of castle film in boxes in sound,But I think I will still project them, they are fun to watch, specialy in halloween! But like everything in this world , theirs a begining ,and a middle , and the end! But the main thing , just enjoy your films , and dont worry about anything, because tomorow is not promise to anyone ! Enjoy the show!
