I have a problem with the take up arm of a Eumig Mark S 710D. Basically at the end of the arm, there is a part missing- the black bit that the spool clips on to so consequently the spool just spins. Does anyone know if spares are available? If not I imagine it would be possible to design a sleeve to fit over the armthat would grip the spool in some way

Tony
Are you reffering to the little plastic hub that slides over the spindle to effectively convert it from Standard 8 to Super 8? If so these come with new spools supplied by Gepe etc. and shouldn't be too difficult to come across, in fact I have some that you could have but I rather suspect that you might be reffering to something specific to your machine in which case ignore the above

Thanks for the posting. Sadly that part is OK, it is the rear take up arm that has a piece missing- the Eumigs only allowed a Super 8 reel on the back arm as far as I know.

Hi Tony, I have an 802 which is no longer useable but can breakdown for spares. The spindle part may fit yours. Get back to me, Kev.
