Excellent news.

Now let us know how you're getting on with stereo re-recordings next as Kevin has a fix for that too.

Hi, John I,m not doing much in the way of re-recordings, I have been trying to get the capacitor that Kevin has mentioned on the Form but have been unable to get them in this area. Alex

Yes unfortunately this high voltage type cap is getting quite hard to get hold of.
I will try to get some and maybe offer them for sale. The normal supplier I use here in the UK has now stopped selling them. [Frown]

The capacitor is available as a Philips TV spare (they are used in some Philps ctv’s) as with most TV spares they are over priced, when I get a moment I will check the cost/availability
