I've got a Bolex V180 editor which has the 6V 10W lamp used by almost all cine editors. The Bolex has a big screen and the light is painfully dim. There is probably a plug-in halogen equivalent which will transform the picture......or is there?

thanks in advance for any info,

Rob

Rob,

Classic Home Cinema were selling an adaptor that let you fit a halogen bulb in to the bulb holder but last time I checked they were sold out.
It is possible to convert it yourself by getting hold of a Halogen bulb holder but these are too big to fit in the old bulb holder and will reqire modification to the editor to get it to fit. Well worthwhile though.
